Cayman Islands Data Protection Act 2017

This Privacy Policy is issued in compliance with the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act, 2017 (as revised) ("DPA"). As a data controller registered in the Cayman Islands, Savior Fund SP is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the DPA and internationally recognized data protection standards.

The DPA establishes a framework for the protection of personal data that is consistent with international standards, including the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to Object: You have the right to object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

As an investment fund operating globally, we may transfer your personal data to recipients located outside of the Cayman Islands. Such transfers will only be made in compliance with the DPA and where:

  • Appropriate safeguards are in place (such as standard contractual clauses);
  • You have provided explicit consent to the transfer; or
  • The transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract or for legal reasons.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements. For investment-related data, we are required to retain records for a minimum period as mandated by Cayman Islands financial regulations and anti-money laundering laws.

Supervisory Authority

The Office of the Ombudsman of the Cayman Islands is the supervisory authority responsible for data protection matters under the DPA. If you believe that your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with:
